EXPO /// FR. 17 MAY – SU. 16 JUNE
Vibration is an oscillating movement that occurs at the minuscule scale of atomic nuclei to the vast galaxies in our universe. It‘s perceived by our body in waves, from sound on our eardrums and skin, to light through our retinas. They reach our brain as electric signals where these waves are transcending to an experience. Hertz is the unit to measure the speed of waves. Hyper is the ancient greek superlative for the paramount.
In the retrospective exhibition Hyper Hertz, artist Ricky van Broekhoven shows his collection of synesthetic machines. Experience how sound energy adjusts space and transforms matter.
