23 /// RELOADING TECHNOLOGY
EXPO /// FR. 23 MARCH TILL FR. 4 MAY
OPENING /// FR. 23 MAR /// 19.30 O’CLOCK
Reloading Technology is a comprehensive exhibition at Temporary Art Centre (TAC) in Eindhoven, that discusses the meaning and terms of technological in-novation. What is the future of labour? How will autonomous machines inhabit society? How can we maintain privacy when information is monitored?
Reloading Technology encourages thinking and brings together users, companies, designers, artists and universities in order to search for answers on these and many other questions. The exhibition contains design- and art projects that show the boundaries, opportunities and pitfalls of technical innovation.
Besides the exhibition there’s a rich public programme with workshops on Thursday varying from chat-bot-making to finding user based approaches to automated vehicle development.
PROGRAMMA T/M MAART
/// THURSDAY WORKSHOP
The exhibition contains a large number of ethical and moral themes that tie companies, education, private life and our dreams together. This workshop series is focused on elaborating on these themes in a less formal setting. As a participant you can take part in the discussion or the practical work presented in each workshop, or simply join in and listen.
/// FRIDAY FEELGOOD TALKS
Towards the end of the working week we long for a joint event to calm things down nicely. In this after work setting we are opening up the floor of the exhibition to young talents, philosophical experts, exhibition makers and international researchers.
/// SUNDAY SOCIAL SCREENING
Each Sunday the exhibition is transformed into a cinematic experience by the use of Milan Taks Cycling Cinema – allowing us a great opportunity to come together and watch some of the most extraordinary documentaries and short films in relation to privacy, innovation and technological development. Join in for a Korean film snack and a great movie!
Entrance: the full programme is free of charge
