Here art liberty, there equality. Welcome to HALTE!: an exhibition that focuses on the subject of (de)colonialism. From their own perspective and medium, 14 Dutch and Palestinian artists each show their vision of the theme.

Gloria Wekker gives a lecture about the consequences of colonialism and its influence on human communication. Including a poetic interlude by spoken word artist Stryder.

HALTE! shows documentaryValentino’s Ghost – Why We Hate Arabs And Muslims: a film that reveals how Arab culture is often presented in a negative light in the media. After the film there will be a Skype interview with director Michael Singh.
