Should we separate the art from the artist, is that even possible? What does a name, your background, and your experiences have to do with your work? Nothing and everything.
TAC’s Anonymous is back again! We are calling for proposals for a group exhibition in June 2026 that focus on the topic of identity in the broadest sense. Next to that, instead of asking for your CV and background information, we will accept only anonymous proposals. Yes, it is an open call with a twist!
The application must consist of a proposal (existing or new work) and a portfolio of relevant work. Please be mindful to remove your name from these documents. The application will not be considered during the selection process if the name is still visible. TAC adheres to the concept of selecting projects anonymously and focusing on the artwork at hand.
After being selected, you can decide whether to stay anonymous or not during the exhibition.
We are open to all media and techniques within (visual) contemporary art (performance, object-based work, spoken word, installation …). The participating artists will be compensated with an artist fee based on the fair practice code.
Practical information:
- Application deadline: 31. 3. 2026
- The group exhibition will be in the spaces of TAC (Ventoselaan 1; 5611BS Eindhoven; NL).
- The opening is scheduled for 12. 6. 2026.
- Exhibition duration: 3 weekends: 12. – 26. 6. 2026.
- We will make a selection and inform everyone after the decision will be made. We expect to have the results within 3 weeks after the deadline.
