About Alessandra Scalora
“I’m interested in how art can ground us, invite reflection, and reconnect us with our senses. Working mindfully, I see my pieces as quiet rituals. Through House of Honey Studio, I hope to create a visual language that speaks to the softness and strength we carry within us.“
Alessandra Scalora is a multidisciplinary artist and urban beekeeper working under the name House of Honey Studio. Her work explores the quiet, instinctive connections between nature, femininity, and transformation. Creating paintings, prints and wooden sculptural objects using natural materials such as pollen pigments, beeswax, and reclaimed wood from her own hives.
With over ten years of experience as a beekeeper, the bees are central to her art. It represents care, community, and the often invisible labour of women, themes that shape her creative practice.
